Domain Transfer

Bring Your Domain to DTS

Switch registrars without any downtime. Your domain keeps working throughout the transfer — and you get a free year added to your registration.

How a domain transfer works

Three steps and you're done — usually in under 7 days.

1

Unlock your domain

Log in to your current registrar, disable the registrar lock, and request your EPP/auth code. This takes about 2 minutes.

2

Start the transfer

Enter your domain above, provide your auth code at checkout, and complete the order. We handle everything from there.

3

Done — no downtime

Your domain keeps resolving throughout the transfer. Once complete it appears in your DTS dashboard, extended by 1 year.

Why transfer to DTS?

More than just a change of registrar.

Free Year Added

Every transfer extends your registration by 1 year at no extra cost — you never lose time you've already paid for.

Free WHOIS Privacy

Your personal details stay off the public WHOIS database — included free on every domain, including transferred ones.

Zero Downtime

Your website and email keep working throughout the entire transfer process. Your visitors won't notice a thing.

Consolidate Everything

Manage your domain, hosting, and email all in one DTS account. One invoice, one dashboard, one support team.

Transfer FAQ

It's a password for your domain that proves you're the owner and authorises the transfer. You'll find it in your current registrar's control panel — usually under "Security" or "Transfer" settings.
No. DNS records continue to work throughout the transfer. As long as you don't change anything, your visitors and email won't be affected at all.
ICANN requires a 60-day lock period after a new registration or a previous transfer before the domain can be transferred again. If your domain is less than 60 days old, you'll need to wait.
We're here for it. Open a support ticket or start a live chat and our team will guide you through unlocking your domain and getting the auth code from your current registrar.
